Yeah his cover was so good! I didn't record it because my phone got too full and I couldn't record any more videos and I didn't want to be distracted by deleting stuff haha. But yep the crowd all sung along, especially the oldies! Lisa - Billy Field sang it originally in the 80s - here's a video of Pete singing it on the Adam Hills show -

When I saw Pete in Brisbane last year he came out and signed for everyone and i've noticed some posts on facebook that mention that he has come out a few times on this tour - guess it just depends on his mood! I just really want a photo! haha i've seen him 5 times, met him twice and haven't got a photo with him. It's my goal in life hahaha!

Thanks for the link to the video Murf. It is the first time I have heard that song and I thought it really suited Pete's voice - a lovely sweet performance

.
Don't give up hope about having your pic taken with Pete. If he is coming to the end of a run of 44 shows he's bound to be feeling a bit tired at the end of the evening and if he has his family with him on occasions, it may just not be possible to hang around afterwards.

Yeah I can never understand people paying good money for a ticket and then talking all the way through

. I have a live recording of a Leona Naess concert where she shouts to the audience "Hey someone's trying to sing up here"

Lisa each week on Adam Hills show his music guests would choose a cover to do and put a completely different spin on it. Pete turned a pop song into a gorgeous love ballad and as you can see the audience was enthralled by his take on an old forgotten song from the 80s!!

I've seen a clip from an Ed Sheeran concert where he's trying to talk about the song he's about to sing and a million girls keep yelling out "I love you Ed" and he says "If you loved me you'd be quiet" haha

Thats Gold
At our gig, we had an upper and lower level.. it was quiet noisy. Pete sung BSB first and then he said to the the audience.. "If you cant hear... feel free to tell them (I think it was a private party up top) to shut the fuck up"... Loved it
Murf, thanks for the pics and Vid...I loved Nath singing Lucky Man...It's my kids Fav song. We get in the car and we have to listen to it...love it... lol. I love Adam Hills. He does some great shows. He has the best sense of humor..love him also. Thanks for the link.. I think Pete could sing any song and make it sound great...

Oh nice

. I've seen something similar on Triple J with their 'Like A Version' when an artist I like has done a slot.
Adam Hills got very popular over here this summer with his show The Last Leg which was shown daily immediately after the Paralympic games. I had seen him before in clips of things but I didn't know about his prosthetic leg until the show

. I think he was invited back for some more of the same over the Christmas period.
